Privacy Policy for Reentry Care
Effective Date: June 14, 2025

Introduction:
Reentry Care (Honest Insurance LLC) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from our users, how we use and safeguard that information, and your choices regarding your data. By using our website, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. We operate in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas,  Wisconsin, and Wyoming, providing health insurance enrollment assistance, and we adhere to applicable privacy laws for our jurisdictions.

Information We Collect
Voluntarily Provided Personal Information: The only personal information we collect is that which you voluntarily submit through forms on our site. This may include:

  • Contact Details: Your name, email address, phone number, and mailing or ZIP code.

  • Demographics: Basic information like your age (or date of birth) and preferred contact method (e.g. whether you prefer phone or email contact).

We do not request or collect any sensitive personal health information through our website. Please do not include any confidential health or medical details in form fields or comments, as our site is not intended for the transmission of protected health information (PHI). Similarly, we will never ask you to provide information like your Social Security Number or insurance ID numbers (e.g. Medicare claim number) via our online forms.

Automatically Collected Data: When you visit our site, we may automatically receive non-personal data about your visit via analytics tools. For example, we use Google Analytics to collect information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and the date/time of your visit, in order to understand website traffic and improve our services. This information is generally aggregated and not used to identify you personally.

How We Use Your Information
We use the personal information you provide only for its intended purpose of serving you. This includes contacting you to respond to your inquiries, providing you with information or assistance regarding Medicaid or subsidized insurance enrollment, and delivering any other services or support you have requested. We share your information internally with authorized staff/agents of Reentry Care who need it to fulfill your request (for example, an agent who will reach out to help with your insurance enrollment). We do not use your information for any unrelated purposes. If we ever wish to use your personal data for a new purpose, we will seek your consent first.

In some cases, if you proceed to sign up for an insurance plan or program through us, we will use the provided information to complete and submit your enrollment or application on your behalf. We will only transmit the necessary details to the relevant insurance provider or government health program as part of delivering the service you requested, and we will do so securely and in compliance with applicable laws.
We may also use non-personal or aggregated data (such as website traffic analytics) to improve our website functionality, user experience, and marketing effectiveness. For example, understanding which pages are most visited helps us optimize our site content. Any usage of data for analysis or advertising is done without identifying individual users.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your computer or device. They help websites remember user preferences and collect usage information. We use cookies for several reasons: to keep you logged in (if applicable), remember your preferences, and understand how visitors use our site so we can improve navigation and content.

We also may use cookies and third-party tracking pixels for re-targeting and advertising purposes. For instance, cookies enable us to show you relevant information or promotional content on other websites based on your past interaction with our site. These cookies help us reach people who have shown interest in Reentry Care services, such as via reminder ads about enrollment deadlines. Any third-party advertising or social media partners that set cookies on our site will be subject to their own privacy policies; we do not control the data practices of those third parties.

Google Analytics: We specifically use Google Analytics, which sets its own cookies, to gather standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form. Google Analytics helps us analyze how users find and use our website (for example, which pages are visited most, how long users stay, and what site referred them) so we can continually improve our content. The data collected via Google Analytics does not include personal identifiers, and we do not allow Google to use or share our analytics data except to provide us these services. For more details, you can refer to [Google’s Privacy Policy] which explains how Google processes this information.

Your Control of Cookies: You have choices regarding cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can modify your browser settings to decline cookies or alert you when cookies are being sent. If you do not wish cookies to be placed on your device, you can disable cookies in your browser’s security or privacy settings at any time. Please note that if you disable cookies, some features of our website (such as interactive forms or remembering your preferences) may not function properly. However, you will still be able to access and use the site generally even with cookies disabled. We do not currently respond to “Do Not Track” signals, due to the lack of industry consensus, but you can opt out of certain tracking (like Google Analytics) by using browser add-ons or settings if you wish.

Third-Party Services (Analytics and CRM)
Reentry Care utilizes a couple of trusted third-party services to operate our website and serve our clients efficiently:

  • Google Analytics: Analytics Provider. As noted above, we use Google Analytics to track website traffic and user interactions in aggregate. This helps us understand how visitors use our site and improve the user experience. Google Analytics may use cookies and other tracking technologies to collect this information. All data is anonymized and used only for statistical analysis. No personally identifiable information (like your name or contact info) is shared with Google through our use of Analytics. You can learn more in Google’s documentation on “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps”.

  • GoHighLevel (CRM): Customer Relationship Management Platform. We use GoHighLevel as our CRM system to securely store and manage client data and communications. When you submit a form on our website (for example, requesting enrollment assistance), your contact information and inquiry may be stored in GoHighLevel’s platform. This allows our team to follow up with you, track your request, and provide timely service. GoHighLevel acts as a service provider to us, and the information in our CRM is accessible only to authorized Reentry Care staff. We have agreements in place to ensure that GoHighLevel protects your data in compliance with privacy standards. (For more details, you can review GoHighLevel’s own Privacy Policy, available on their website.) We do not share your CRM data with any third parties, and it is used solely to manage our relationship with you (such as scheduling calls, sending information you requested, etc.).

Other than the services above, we do not embed additional third-party tracking tools beyond what is necessary. If in the future we integrate any other third-party features (for example, a chat widget or a social media share plugin), we will update this policy and ensure those services are disclosed to you. Any third-party service providers we use are carefully vetted and are only permitted to use your information to provide services to Reentry Care under our instructions, consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Information Sharing and Disclosure
Your privacy is extremely important to us. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any outside parties. That means we will never monetize your personal data by providing it to data brokers or advertisers, and you will not receive communications from unrelated third parties as a result of sharing your information with Reentry Care.

We only share or disclose your personal information in the following circumstances:

  • With Your Consent or at Your Direction: If you explicitly ask us to share your information with a third party, or if sharing is necessary to carry out a service you requested, we will do so. For example, if as part of your insurance enrollment we need to submit your details to a government health agency or an insurance carrier to complete your application, we will share the required information with that entity as part of fulfilling our service to you. We will always aim to limit the information shared to only what is necessary for the task.

  • Within Our Company: We may share your information internally with employees or agents of Honest Insurance LLC (Reentry Care) who need it to perform their duties (such as a licensed agent calling you to follow up). All such personnel are bound by confidentiality and this Privacy Policy.

  • Service Providers: We may disclose information to trusted third-party service providers that help us operate our business (for instance, our website hosting provider or our CRM platform, as described above). In such cases, these service providers are contractually obligated to keep your information confidential and use it only for the purpose of providing services to us (and by extension, to you).

  • Legal Requirements: We will disclose personal information if required to do so by law or if we, in good faith, believe such action is necessary to comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes, or enforceable governmental requests. This can include responding to subpoenas, court orders, or regulatory demands. We may also disclose information when necessary to protect our rights or property, ensure the safety of our users or others, or investigate fraud or security issues. For example, if required by a lawful investigative demand or to prevent a crime, we may provide information to law enforcement authorities.

Aside from the situations above, your personal information remains within Reentry Care and is not shared with outside parties. In particular, we do not share your email or phone number with any third-party marketers or unrelated companies. If you have any questions about whether a third party has obtained your information from us, please contact us (see Contact section below) and we will be happy to clarify what (if anything) was shared and why. In any case, we maintain a policy of minimal disclosure and will always prioritize your privacy.

User Comments and Content
Our website may allow users to post comments on blog articles or other interactive features. If you choose to submit a comment on our site, please be aware that any information you post in a comment will be public to other viewers of the site. We strongly encourage you not to include any personal information or sensitive details in your comments. While engaging in discussions, please use discretion about sharing private data.
To maintain a safe and respectful environment, we moderate user-submitted content. We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any comments that violate our guidelines or policies. For example, we may remove comments that contain offensive language, personal attacks, spam or unsolicited promotions, or sensitive personal information such as someone’s email or phone number. Reentry Care is not obligated to publish every comment and will exercise editorial control to ensure that discussions remain civil and on-topic.

Importantly, we do not permit users to upload documents or files in comment sections or any public area of our website. This is to protect your privacy and security. Any attempt to attach or upload external files (such as images of documents, PDFs, etc.) in a comment will be blocked by our system. If you need to share any documents with us for service purposes, please do so through a secure, direct method (such as providing it during a scheduled call or via our secure email) rather than posting it publicly on the site.

By commenting on our site, you understand that your content is your responsibility. We will never intentionally share or publish your private data through the comments. If you see any user-generated content that concerns you or violates someone’s privacy, please notify us and we will address it.

Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not intended for children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, please do not use this website or submit any information to us. We ask that parents or guardians oversee the online activities of minors and ensure that minors do not provide personal data to Reentry Care via the website. In the event that we discover we have collected personal information from a child under 18 without parental consent, we will promptly delete that information from our records. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a minor under 18, please contact us immediately so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
(Note: While our policy is focused on users 18 and older, if you are seeking insurance coverage for a minor (for example, CHIP or children’s Medicaid in Texas), please do so through an adult parent/guardian. Any information about a minor’s coverage should be provided by the adult acting on their behalf, not by the minor directly via the website.)

Your Data Rights and Choices
We believe in transparency and giving you control over your personal information. Below are the choices and rights you have regarding your data:

  • Access and Update: You have the right to request information about the personal data we hold about you. If you would like to know what information (if any) we have collected from you, you can contact us and we will provide you with a copy of your data, subject to identity verification and as required by law. If any personal information we have is incorrect or has changed (for instance, you want to update your contact number), please let us know and we will correct it.

  • Data Deletion: You have the right to request that we delete the personal information we have collected from you. We comply with such deletion requests in accordance with applicable law. If you wish to have your data removed from our systems, you can email us at data@reentrycare.org with your request. For your protection, we may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a deletion request (to ensure that we are deleting the data of the correct person). Once verified, we will delete your personal data from our active systems and confirm with you when this process is completed. Please note that there may be instances where we must retain certain information for legal or compliance reasons (for example, records of a completed insurance enrollment, or if required by insurance regulations), but we will inform you if any such exception applies. In general, however, if you request deletion, we will remove your information to the fullest extent feasible. We will respond to your deletion request (or any data request) within a reasonable timeframe, typically within 30 days.

  • Opt-Out of Communications: If at any point you prefer not to receive marketing communications or updates from us (for example, newsletters or announcements about new services), you can opt out. Simply follow the “unsubscribe” instructions in any email you receive, or contact us at data@reentrycare.org to be removed from our mailing list. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional or service-related communications when necessary (such as a message responding to your specific inquiry, or important information about a service you are using).

  • Cookies Preferences: As discussed in the Cookies section, you can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. If you wish to opt out of Google Analytics tracking, Google provides an opt-out browser add-on you can install. For interest-based advertising cookies, you can often opt out via industry sites like the Network Advertising Initiative or by adjusting your Google Ad settings. Refer to our Cookies section above for more on disabling cookies.

If you have any questions about exercising your rights, or need assistance with any of the above, please contact us (see the Contact section below). We are here to help and committed to honoring your rights and requests regarding your personal data.
State Privacy Laws (California and Nevada)

Reentry Care serves residents of Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas,  Wisconsin, and Wyoming. As such, we are not subject to certain state-specific privacy laws, such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) / California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) or Nevada’s online privacy statutes. These laws typically apply to businesses that operate in those states or meet certain thresholds which we do not. Therefore, the additional consumer rights provided under those laws (for example, specific California resident data access or deletion rights beyond what is described above, or Nevada’s opt-out of sale requirement) do not apply to our handling of personal information, since we do not fall under those statutes.

  • California Residents: We do not meet the criteria for CCPA/CPRA applicability (for instance, we do not do business in California, nor do we reach the data volume thresholds of those laws). We also do not sell personal information, and we only serve users in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Mississippi, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas,  Wisconsin, and Wyoming, so the core concerns of CCPA (like “Do Not Sell My Info”) are not relevant to our operations. If you are a California resident who somehow interacts with our site, please be aware that while we respect your privacy as described in this policy, the formal rights and disclosures of CCPA/CPRA are not provided here because they are not legally required for our business. We will, however, always honor basic requests like data deletion or access as described in the section above, regardless of your state of residence, to the extent we can.

  • Nevada Residents: Nevada law (SB 220) requires certain websites to post a notice if they sell personal information and gives Nevada consumers the right to opt out of the sale of personal data. We do not sell personal data and are not subject to Nevada’s privacy law requirements. If you are a Nevada resident using our site, rest assured we do not sell your data. Should that ever change, we would update this policy and provide a method to exercise your rights. But as of the effective date above, no action is needed on your part because we simply don’t engage in data sale or monetization.

In summary, Reentry Care’s privacy practices are primarily governed by Texas law and applicable federal regulations (for example, HIPAA may apply to how we handle any health-related information, even though we avoid collecting PHI on the site). We continually monitor the legal landscape and, if our operations expand or laws change such that state privacy statutes become applicable, we will update this Privacy Policy accordingly.

Data Security
We take reasonable and appropriate measures to protect the security of your personal information. This includes using technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to secure data against unauthorized access or misuse. For example, our website is encrypted using HTTPS to protect data in transit, and data stored in our CRM is protected by authentication and encryption. We limit access to personal data to those in our organization who have a need to know. We also require our service providers to follow strict security standards.

However, please note that no website or Internet transmission is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee absolute security. You should also take steps to safeguard your own information, such as not sharing your website login credentials (if any) and using secure networks to access our site. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure (for example, if you feel that your account has been compromised), please contact us immediately so we can investigate and take any needed action.

Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update or change this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or to comply with legal requirements. If we make any significant changes, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on this page and update the “Effective Date” at the top. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any updates. Your continued use of our website after any changes to this Privacy Policy signifies your acceptance of those changes. If we make material changes that affect how we handle personal data, we may also provide a more prominent notice (such as a banner on our site or an email notification) to inform you. Rest assured, we will not use or share your personal information in new ways without first updating this policy and, if required, obtaining your consent.

Contact Information
If you have any questions, concerns, or requests regarding this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, please do not hesitate to contact us. You can reach our privacy team by email at data@reentrycare.org. This is a dedicated email address for privacy inquiries, including questions about data usage or requests to access/delete your information.
